The Clinical Trials & Survey Corporation offers statistical planning and analyses, data management, medical monitoring and clinical coordination services to government agencies, non-profits and commercial companies. C-TASC came to WebFirst with a requirement to redesign their website and to create a fully featured content management system (CMS). WebFirst performed a full scale requirements analysis phase with an Information Architecture component. WebFirst developed a content management system around the Drupal (open source) framework. Using the CMS, C-TASC staff can now update their website easily, using a web-based interface with a WSYWYG editor. The Drupal System gives C-TASC a platform for growth and expansion with the ability to add additional features as the needs of the organization grow.

WebFirst also created a special profile page that allowed C-TASC to enter high level project overviews with information regarding client, consulting investigators, and publications. Moreover, WebFirst designed a storyboard for the home page – creating a flash/Jquery based component to rotate images reflecting the different phases of the FDA Clinical Trial Approval process.
